iGEM Indonesian League
iGEM ID League is synthetic biology competition for high school and undergraduate students in Indonesia. All teams design a solution to a local problem using synthetic biology approaches.
iGEM Indonesian League is part of the iGEM Leagues program and hosts multidisciplinary teams with members from all over the country.
Previous Competition
Previously, iGEM Indonesian League is also known as Bioinformatics & Synthetic Biology Competition (BIOS) which was organized by Synbio ID since 2020. All teams proposed solution for local or global issues through bioinformatics and synthetic biology approaches.

Q&A Session
Dec 8th, 2023
During this session, there will be a Q&A session and judging for the participants of iGEM ID League. Prior to this session, judges will have thoroughly examined team presentation video and reviewed team projects. During this session, each team will be allotted fifteen minutes to provide updates and offer an overview of their project, followed by a lively Q&A session.
Presentation Session

In the Presentation Session, the top three teams will showcase their projects to the audience. The presentations need to captivate the audience with clear and engaging explanations of the team’s project, which demonstrate their creativity, innovation, and hard work. The audience will have the opportunity to learn from the best and appreciate their achievements.
Awarding Ceremony

Tonight is the award night for the winners in the iGEM ID League.
There will be 3 (three) teams eligible for grand prize. Additionally, there are also special prizes in 9 categories that will be given. Each team can receive more than one special prize and this will contribute to the overall evaluation of the Grand Prize.
